About Me
Hello! I am currently a senior at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I am a Journalism, Advertising & Media Studies major, with a focus in Public Relations. I also have a minor in Women and Gender Studies. I spent a semester studying abroad in Rome during spring of 2019, and took the time to travel around Europe, seeing and experiencing many different places. While abroad I took a few classes focusing on both the global aspect of media, but also its role in different social movements. This only increased my interest in the ways media operates, how people interact with it, and its ability to impact and change the world on both a micro and macro level.
In correlation with my passion for the media, I also have a large interest in pop culture. From a young age, and into my early adulthood, I have always been interested in media, celebrities, and what is trending at the moment. From experiencing the joys of an media consumer, to learning about the media as a producer, I would love to enter this industry whether it be behind the scenes or in front of the camera.
Besides this, I am also incredibly interested in all things beauty and fashion, and would love to work for a corporate beauty and lifestyle company in the future, such as Ulta or L'Oreal. I am constantly playing with new makeup looks, trying on different fashion trends and keeping up with celebrities and influencers who do the same. It is one of the ways that I best express myself in an artistic manner.
A few of my other passions and interests would be my two cats, Bacardi and Jasper, astrology and learning about peoples birth charts, and when I can, traveling. I love meeting new people, and never shy away from going to different social events. Spending time with my close friends is what I love most, and would be most important interest.
